Maintenance Technician

Job Description
We are in need of high energy, dynamic people who will be responsible for the general maintenance duties,
including but not limited to, servicing and supporting the plant’s facility, machine and support equipment. In
addition to identifying and repairing problems, the individual will select and coordinate the services of outside
contractors. Some heavy lifting is required (up to 50 lbs). The candidate must have a valid driver’s license and a
reliable vehicle (work related mileage is reimbursed).

Requirements
• Knowledge and ability to follow and adhere to safety/OSHA regulations & LOTO procedures.
• Strong critical thinking skills to identify root cause of mechanical, electrical and electronics related
   issues.
• Ability to safely build, troubleshoot and work on basic industrial circuits (120V, 240V, & 480V 3-phase).
• Ability to service machines to change out broken parts and rebuild components.
• Capable of performing industrial welding, machining and operation of necessary power hand tools and
   shop equipment, including drill press, milling machine and grinders.
• Service and perform minor rebuilds on air conditioning units, pumps, and compressors.
• Ability to issue instructions, write maintenance plans, order parts, issue purchase orders, read, maintain,
  and follow parts & repair manuals.
• Ability to read and analyze schematics.
• Ability to take direction yet work independently.
• Ability to work at heights and lift up to 50 lbs.
• 2-3 years direct hands-on experience in industrial repair and maintenance of electrical, pneumatic, &
  mechanical machines and systems.
• High School Diploma required.
• Trade School experience or Journeyman’s card preferred.

Additional Responsibilities
• Maintain the Work Order System. Including ordering materials, scheduling repairs with technicians and
   production schedules, issuing repair instructions and updating the preventative maintenance schedules
   for the equipment and building.
• Organize and maintain the parts department.
• Perform in office and manufacturing environments.
• Help Identify training needs in regard to our technicians.
• Coordinate service with outside contractors and the production schedule.
• Communicate and update equipment repair status/timing to management.

Salary and Benefits
• Full time hourly position, rate $38.86 - $41.65/hr. depending on qualifications.
